Pug Sound Effects
I haven't done one of these multi drawing illustrations in a little while since I've been so busy at work and with opening my Zazzle store but figured this long weekend would be a perfect time to do one! So here are a few of my favorite pug sound effects. I've never met a dog breed that made as many hilarious sounds as pugs. It takes some getting used to their crazy loud snores, but now when I travel I actually miss their snores! Their snores are like one of those white noise or waterfall/rain machines. So take a moment to appreciate the good and the not so good (e.g., toots) sounds your pug makes!

Perfectly done! I believe there is a pug rule about sneezing being done into owners' faces. My Rudy does this funny little inward snort when he smells the air outside and Sammy emits a shrill squeal/bark when he sees a wild bunny in the yard. Yep, pugs are very vocal!
ReplyDeleteI love this one so much. One of the things I love most about my pugs is their expressive noises. <3
ReplyDeletehehe love this. only one of my pugs does the 'awoowoo' but it cracks me up. and i love the clicky clicky of them walking around on the hardwood. love all their funny noises!

Found this on Illustration Friday; love it! So adorable and TRUE
ReplyDeleteWe call their sneezes "pug love." So cute.
ReplyDeleteMy puglette also squeaks like a guinea pig in her sleep when she's not snoring...
ReplyDeleteand the licking XD perfect! keep the illustrations coming <3
One of our pugs used to do the "awoowoo" thing, but only when one of us was playing the piano - and sometimes singing. Was he trying, in his puggy way, to sing along? It was really cute because he used to jump backwards with each "woo"!
