Pug Action

A lot of people may think pugs are lazy and inactive.  That's just not true.  Some pugs are super active and athletic, but even the laziest pug is capable of some amazing acrobatics in certain circumstances.  Sunny probably sleeps about 80% of the day but for 20% of the day she's busy doing one of these (ok "strange sleeping positions" counts as both lazy and active because sometimes Sunny gets in some amazing yoga-like positions).  See, all pugs are at least somewhat active!  And with the right motivation (i.e., food), you can get a pug to do almost anything.

  1. Very cute! I wish my pug slept more, he's always getting into something and getting into trouble. He does a lot of these things and more. He gets wild and does zoomies where he runs like wild in circles super fast. It always cracks me up!

  2. This is true! My pug Knightley is incredibly active. I'm not sure he's really only five like the shelter said. He seems so youthful and active. But maybe he'll just be that way for all his young years!

  3. it's funny to see my pug mix isn't the only pug who goes nuts after a bath and runs around the house like crazy!

  5. Love your illustrations, I've been following you on PInterest for a while now! I have two black pugs - Stanley and Moo Moo. It's funny, they do all of these things, but we have different names for them: "butt stretches," "digging to China," "hot laps" after a bath......pugs are so weird, but I love them!
