Of course since Sunny can't actually communicate with me in English (let alone human), these are things that I believe she loves based on her behavior and what I would enjoy if I were a pug (well, except for the kick after poops - I think it has to do with scratching in her scent and stuff but I swear she gets so excited about it and then has an extra bounce in her trot afterwards). There were a few other ideas I had that I couldn't squeeze in so check out my sequel to this in "A Pug's Favorite Things, Part II".
So true! I think you captured them all for my pug as well, except he also loves sticking his head in the dishwasher and cleaning any remaining crumbs I missed rinsing the dishes.
ReplyDeleteOh yes. Ditto here. Chin resting and toy sucking is the most ridiculous, but they all do it. Owned 2, both do/did. Own 3 dogs now, only the pug does it.
DeleteOther pug behavior: insist on sitting on you even though they hurt you lap being just a little too big, or lay/sit on your chest, back or legs with their butt or nose right in your busyness (as in in your face)
hahaha i agree to all these things and also the dishwasher! My oldest one always climbs into the dishwasher :)

ReplyDeleteI don't know how it's possible that all pug's ashare these exact traits,but somehow they do. Once a pug's "owner" always a pug "owner" pug life for life!
