Winter Blues

I don't know what it is but I've got a bad case of the winter blues lately. Maybe it's seasonal affective disorder, job anxiety/dissatisfaction, poor sleeping habits, polar vortex frustration, general ennui, or a combination of all of the above. Bah.

(P.S. My photo editing app updated and now I can't figure out how to touch up my drawings the same way I used to. So some of my drawings might look a little different until I figure this out our find a battery way. Argh, changes!)

  2. I might be experiencing a case of the winter blues myself. :( However, your pug illustrations make me happy, as always.

  5. SAD is bad. I've lived up North where the skies are always gray in the long winters, and I've lived in an old Mediterranean style house from the 70's with small windows and dark paneled wood, and I have a firm conviction that I need a light-filled environment. I have to be careful of the sun because of skin cancer, but ever since that Mediterranean house I've made sure any house I move into has white walls and enough windows! Have you looked into extra-bright light bulbs? seems like when I was reading about SAD there was something about some kind of special lights you can get. just a thought. hope you get over the blahs soon :)

  6. I've had SAD for years, and yes, it's hard to overcome! Your drawings make everyone with SAD happy though, I hope you realize that! I look forward to them so much!
