Representing Black Pugs!

So I wanted to rework one of my previous illustrations (A Wrinkle in Time) for my new store (Bah Humpug Store), and wanted to represent black pugs.  I always draw fawn pugs because I have two and most of my illustrations are based on them.  But also fawn pugs are easier to draw and color.  So I hope that people with black pugs like how this turned out - I tried to keep some features visible, especially the shiny eyes that peep out from their faces!

Below is the fawn pug version that I'll be adding to my store.

  1. Eeee!! Thank you so much for including black pugs!

I really became attentive to the overall lack of black pug goods after my little bubu Bridget passed away a couple summers ago: I wanted something to remember her by, and all I found was an ornament, a magnet, and a ceramic statue. That was it. D=

But this is just too adorable! You did a great job of capturing the essence of a black pug. => This illustration reminds me of Bridget in particular, so I will definitely have to pick something up from your store at some point.

    Thanks again!!

Thank You....for representing the black puggies! My first pug, Bailey, is a black furball and she is an amazing little spirit, so kind and sweet. Her sister, Bella, is a fawn and silly as all get out. Very unique individuals, but I have def have a soft spot for the black pugs. They are SOOOO adorable as puppies too, oh man....gotta go dig up some puppy pics of Bailey right now!
