Pug Curfew

I have terrible sleeping habits and often go to bed really late at night.  Sunny and Rosy are pretty good sports about it but sometimes they just get fed up and give me subtle and not-so-subtle signs that they are ready for bed.  Sleeping on the couch and in the dog beds is all fun and good, but when it comes time to catch their beauty sleep, they need quality sleep in the big bed.

  1. love it! the dramatic yawns and the sleepy head bobs are my favorite. they also like to put their heads on my laptop so i can't use half the keyboard. they lead such tiring lives!

  2. Do your Pugs get "tired tail" too? The more tired mine are, the more their tails uncurl :)

I just adore your drawings, BTW! They always bring a big happy grin to my face.

  3. Oh my gosh, someone else has the same experiences with their pugs! So funny. Frank hates that I am reading and on the computer all the time. He paws me, gives me a stare down. Waits in the bedroom. Does all of the above in curfew. I always say I have to pick up Frank (from Grandma's where he stays when I am in school) and get home so he can take a nap before he goes to bed!!! lol

  6. sooo funny!! I too have encountered these!! The wrinkle-free dome head is hilarious, actually, b/c Roxy always gets More wrinkles!! They deepen dramatically and everyone has come to learn it's a sign that she's ready to go home! And we call her a dome head too!! Hilarious to see that someone else does too!! I absolutely love your drawings, especially the posters!!
