This is for this week's Illustration Friday topic, "faded." Sometimes I get sad when I discover a new white whisker on Sunny or notice her slowing down a bit. I've only had her for about 2 years and yet she's aging so quickly already! Ah youth. It fades for all of us.
I love dogs, but their lifespans are so short compared to us. Why can't they breed a dog that lives 50+ years like my African Grey parrot? Even if it has to be a 50 year old mutt, that would be cool.

ReplyDeleteI hate how fast dogs age too! It's just not fair. I swear if I ever came across the fountain of youth I'd be sure to save some sips for Sunny too!
